WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT POWER?

So this happened a couple of days ago me and my dad went to Denny's to go eat. While we were there eating the powers goes off so we are there in the place with no power. But it was a good think we got our food before the power goes off. Now we didnt know if we had to pay or not because of the power but the lady brought out receipt to pay. As soon as we got up to pay the power went on. When we got home the power at the house was off. So that got me thinking on how much we rely on technology for our everyday use. So just Imagen if every thing that runs on power was to suddenly go off what would we the people of the world to. I mean everything we use runs on power from the xbox to the tv to the dvd player even the computer that im using to write this uses power to charge it. I mean what would we the people do on earth do with out power?
